The Oil Spill Simulator supports all stages of incident management from initial prevention/ mitigation through preparation, response and remediation. It functions as a complete training center that prepares Incident Management Teams, On-Scene Commanders and Responders to handle a variety of incidents via exercise simulation, response plans, operating procedures, and checklists. This assures a comprehensive system of incident management is achieved through training, planning, and an effective response by a qualified coordinated team at the Incident Operations Center and in the field.
