Portable Configuration

Our portable crane configuration features the advanced software and 3D graphics of our full-size crane simulator in a mobile industrial case. The sturdy container contains a monitor, joysticks, and panels along with controls, switches, and lights that replicate actual crane controls. This economical and transportable training solution provides crane operator experience in a totally safe and virtual world.

The portable crane configuration enables operators to carry the simulator to the work site where they can perfect difficult moves and lifts before performing them on costly equipment. This convenient and affordable system can be used alone or in conjunction with our mid- or full-size crane simulators to allow operators to practice critical skills including swing control, latching and unlatching, and crane initialization and shut-down.

Crane Software

The portable crane configuration can simulate a variety of port, construction, industrial, and maritime cranes. Each simulation system includes two crane training modules with the capacity to modify and vary the crane specifications such as height, capacity, and speed.

Although each crane module simulates only one crane type, the specifications can be modified to simulate various models of the same crane type. In addition, as your training requirements change, additional modules can be easily incorporated into the system. The portable crane configuration can use any of our 12 crane modules, or a custom crane module can be developed to suit your training needs.

All of the crane modules possess many of the same basic features. These include realistic crane controls, operating environment sounds, 3D graphic images, weather variations, realistic lifting mechanisms, cargo, and cables, custom cargo loads, and natural payload motion and swing.
