DETS - Diesel Engine Training Simulator

The DETS is a low cost full mission training simulator designed for basic to intermediate level training and is suitable for use as part of an STCW training program.

DETS simulates the propulsion and auxiliary systems for typical slow, medium or high speed main engines with (optional) electrical power generation plant.

Realistic controls and instrumentation make students soon believe they are operating real plant. Each system is also shown graphically so students can monitor and control values of temperature, pressure, flow etc. The following systems are included:
