Output of Log Files
All log files for individual students can be output to the printer at any time.

Replay
This function allows the replaying of an exercise from any point in time. It operates in conjunction with the log file and automatic snapshot facilities. In addition to replaying the actions of the student, it is possible to interact with the display while the replay is in progress - not only to show when errors are made, but also how they can be corrected - with all other actions occurring as when the exercise was run originally.

Parameter Trending
For any model, the instructor may select up to ten process variables, such as pressures, temperatures, oxygen or liquid levels, flow rates, etc. The values of these variables are recorded and a trend graph produced at intervals specified by the instructor.

The resulting graphs can be viewed by the instructor during or after the exercise. Permanent records of the trends can be produced using the color printer and an additional facility allows the completed trend file to saved and examined at a later time.
