Course Curriculum

Once purchased, complete course curriculums are available to assist in the initial operation of the LCHS once purchased. The curriculums provide the material to run a cargo operations course where all operations on the relevant type of vessel or installation are covered.

Each curriculum is written in a similar format to the IMO model courses and include:

• Detailed lesson plans including all reference material
• Instructor guidance notes for each exercise including information concerning exercise briefing; exercise setup and running; and debriefing
• Student briefing notes
• Relevant exercise start condition snapshots

With this information, it will be possible to begin operating the simulator as soon as installation is complete and provide a basis upon which new courses, adjusted to the establishment's particular requirements, can be developed.

Curriculums are currently available for use with the following models:

• Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC)
• LNG
• LPG
