Ballast System The vessel is equipped with a main and trim ballast systems. The main system comprises of 13 tanks. Each can be connected to a segregated pipeline system equipped with two electric ballast pumps and one stripping eductor. Tanks are fitted with level indicators together with high and low level alarms The trim system comprises three tanks at the aft end of the vessel and the forepeak. Both the fore and aft system tanks can be connected to two electric pumps. |
