Cargo System

The vessel is equipped with 8 main cargo tanks with two cargo slop tanks. Each tank discharge can be connected to one main cargo line which in turn is connected to a washing header and cargo discharge header. The main cargo lines are connected to one cargo manifold via a flow meter located at the aft end of the vessel.

Cargo Pipelines

There is a single drop line in each tank directly from the 'process' to facilitate cargo loading.

Level indications together with high level and overfill alarms are provided on each cargo tank using a 'radar' type of monitoring system. In addition to level, the volume of cargo, temperature and pressure within each tank and appropriate alarms are displayed.

Each tank is equipped with one hydraulic centrifugal pump. The hydraulic system controls allow the operator to select the required total hydraulic pressure required on the system. Individual pump controls then allow each pump to be controlled separately if required or together by the main hydraulic system. A separate Nitrogen supply is fitted on each pump for final stripping.
