Inert Gas System

The model incorporates an Inert gas generator that can also be used for the supply of fresh air. Regulating controls, oxygen monitoring and sub systems for the provision of cooling and sealing arrangements are also incorporated together with all the required alarms, interlocks and controls. The instructor also has the ability to be able to adjust and malfunction the oxygen content of the delivered inert gas and the various displayed readings.

IG/Ventilation System

The IG plant is connected to distribution systems to all cargo tanks via a single distribution main. Connections are also provided to allow inert gas into the ballast system and pumproom. Appropriate three way valves are fitted on each tank for IG supply, pressure/vacuum relief and tank venting.

The main pipelines are also equipped with pressure/ vacuum relief valves and water filled breakers.
