Inert Gas System

Two inert gas generators are provided, one for the main supply and an additional low capacity top-up generator. Monitoring facilities for the oxygen content, temperature and dew point levels and all required alarms, interlocks and controls are incorporated. The instructor also has the ability to be able to adjust and malfunction the oxygen content of the delivered inert gas and the various displayed readings. The top-up generator is provided with facilities to enable maintenance of the hold space pressures at a set level.

Pipeline connections are provided both to each cargo tank and also to the hold spaces. The cargo tanks are equipped with both upper and lower purge pipelines.

Two air blowers are provided for gas freeing purposes.
