Cargo System

The facility is equipped with 4 main oil storage tanks which can be segregated into two systems and 2 dirty ballast settling tanks.

Level indication is provided together with the contents temperature and tank pressure. Level alarms are also provided.

The terminal is designed to be able to handle up to two grades of oil at a time. The model allows any grade of oil to be placed into the tanks. At run time the operator can choose the cargo required from a list of ten previously defined. This list can be adjusted as required. The model will handle the effects of both the mixing of different grades together with the introduction of water into the system

The main pumping system comprises of four electric driven pumps, two on each pipeline system. Each pipeline system connects to two storage tanks to two manifolds on each berth. Cross connections are provided to allow the systems to be joined if required. A dirty ballast pipeline links each berth to the two dirty ballast storage tanks. Drain lines from each berth connect into the main systems.
