WISE Cargo

Training Modules

Training modules designed to compliment and take advantage of the WISE Cargo software are being developed to cover all aspects of operations on the particular type of vessel.

The modules will be available to enable training to be provided to operators with differing skill levels. Initially modules are being developed primarily aimed at operators who have some theoretical and practical experience of conducting the various operations involved. For example the Crude Oil / Products Tanker modules will include:

• Operation of the Inert Gas Plant
• Primary Inerting
• Preparation for Loading
• Loading operations
• Preparation for discharging
• Discharge operations including Crude Oil Washing operations
• Ballasting operations

The exercise material is displayed 'on line' allowing the user to complete the tasks without the need for external material. Tailored rule sets within the Intelligent System monitor the activity of the user in respect to progress through each exercise and the option is available to produce detailed logs of that activity enabling them to be included as part of an operators 'CPD' program.

Each installation of WISE Cargo supplied includes the modules covering the basic operations. Other modules covering subjects in more depth will be available for purchase separately.
