WISE Operations

Who is it for?

This program is designed for the operator who wishes to use the system both for basic training and as a detailed operational evaluation tool. The accuracy of the simulation models will allow trial operations to be conducted and the results analyzed before putting them into practice. Consequently the system could be used to develop new procedures and methods by which efficiency can be improved and costs reduced.

When used in the training function the program is designed for all personnel who will be involved in cargo operations on bulk liquid carriers. The sophistication of both the simulator models and the feedback system allow it to be used successfully by personnel with all levels of experience. The feedback is linked to the results of specific actions and provision is provided so that particular sets of rules can be loaded at a particular time to monitor specific skill levels or operations.

The system, as supplied, will complement required shore based courses and allows companies to develop their own training programs. In addition, specific training programs for each model type will be available covering all aspects of conducting operations safely and efficiently for the various skill levels of operating personnel.
